How Long a Boost Really Takes: Three Delivery Models, Timed
Delivery estimates are the least audited claim on a boosting checkout page. Nobody publishes the stopwatch behind them, and almost nobody says which half of the job the estimate covers. Our June cycle closed 296 paid orders across 78 services and 13 games, and the clean finding is dull enough to be useful: the model a service runs on predicts your wait better than the promise printed next to the price.
Two clocks, and only one of them gets advertised
We time two stretches separately. One runs from the payment clearing to the moment a real person is queueing on your behalf. The other runs from there to the last game of the order. Only the first compares cleanly across 78 services, because it is indifferent to what you bought: a long climb and a three-win top-up both burn the same kind of dead time before anyone touches the account.
That first stretch is also where services differ by an amount a buyer can feel. Across the 296 orders we ran and paid for up to June 29, 2026, the quickest opening in a given game landed somewhere between 5 and 8 minutes. Slow openings behave differently: an order can sit while nobody in particular owns it, and no estimate on the product page tells you whether you have landed in that group.
The back half resists this treatment, so we do not publish it as a league table. Two buyers who ordered different amounts of ground were never on the same stopwatch, and averaging them would produce a number that flatters everybody equally. What we can report about the back half is which variables move it, and those turn out to be the size of the job and the hours the player keeps, neither of which appears in the marketing copy.
Three ways an order actually reaches a human
Underneath the branding, orders get picked up in one of three ways. They succeed and stall at different points, which is most of the reason the wait varies so much between two sites that quote the same estimate.
Read down the third column and the pattern is unflattering to the listing-board approach. A roster service carries the handoff internally, so pickup speed becomes an operational number it can manage and be judged on. A listing board hands that decision to a stranger with a schedule of their own, and no amount of polish on the order page shortens it. In our logs those listings were the only ones with no ceiling in practice - some moved in minutes, some were still open the next morning.
Per-win buying is the odd one out. It reads as a pricing choice, but it changes the shape of the clock too: a five-win order is small enough that the opening pickup is most of the delivery experience. - Ask which stretch the promise covers before you pay - services that measure their own pickup will answer without hedging.
- Speed and price are only loosely linked: the cheapest median in the set, $12 per division in Wild Rift, sat next to a 5 minute opening, while $15 CS2 orders opened at 8.
Where each game landed in the June cycle
Seven of the 13 games opened at 5 minutes at their best: FACEIT, Fortnite, GTA 6, League of Legends, Marvel Rivals, Valorant and Wild Rift. Deadlock and Overwatch came in at 6, Apex Legends at 7, and CS2, Dota 2 and TFT trailed at 8.
Pool size decides how much weight each row deserves. League of Legends carried 30 orders and CS2 carried 27, so those two are the sturdiest lines here. FACEIT and Valorant sat at 18 each, the thinnest of the set, and we would not argue hard over a one minute difference on either. Scheduling explains most of the slow group. High ranked work in CS2, Dota 2 and TFT concentrates on players who are usually mid-match themselves, and no serious operation drags someone out of a live game to open a new order. Those extra three minutes are an artefact of how the queues run, and they did not correlate with anything else our weights measure.

What the timings point to once the tables are in
One service finished the cycle at 98 under weights we fix before the first order is placed, and pickup speed is only one input into that. That figure never wins a single-order race against a 5 minute best somewhere on the roster, and it was not meant to: an average holds up under repetition in a way a personal record does not.
You pay for the consistency. What exactly are you timing when you say an order has started?
The stretch between the payment clearing and the first message from the person who will actually play. We take that timestamp from the service's own order chat, so the record belongs to them rather than to our stopwatch. Everything before it is software; everything after it is the job.
Why did CS2, Dota 2 and TFT open slower than the rest?
Those three sat at 8 minutes at their best, against 5 minutes for seven of the other games. Scheduling explains most of it: the players qualified for high ranked work in those titles are usually in a match of their own, and pulling someone mid-game to open a new order would cost their account more than it saves yours.
Does paying more buy a faster pickup?
Not dependably. Wild Rift carried the cheapest median in the set at $12 per division and still produced a 5 minute opening, while CS2 at a $15 median trailed at 8. What money buys with some consistency is a staffed roster instead of a board of open listings, and that structural difference moves the wait far more than the headline price does.
